Bill Pulte, Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, fired Fannie Mae’s (FNMA) Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer, Nancy Jardini, Eleanor Mueller of Semafor reports via X, citing a person familiar with the decision. “It’s the latest in a string of firings at Fannie Mae and sister firm Freddie Mac (FMCC) as the new FHFA director looks to overhaul the companies,” adds Mueller.
