Shares of Prospect Capital (PSEC) are on the rise on Wednesday after the company reported quarterly results. Prospect Capital reported a loss of $195.9M in its fourth quarter. On a per-share basis, the company said it had a loss of 50c. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 17c per share, compared to consensus of 13c. Prospect reported revenue of $166.9M in the period. For the full year, the business development company posted a loss of $469.9M, or $1.35 per share. PRICE ACTION: In afternoon trading, shares of Prospect Capital have gained almost 4% to $2.89.
