Evercore ISI lowered the firm’s price target on Progressive (PGR) to $273 from $275 and keeps an In Line rating on the shares. The firm is updating its price targets for Global Insurance P&C companies under its coverage, the analyst tells investors. Q3 is looking to be a “solid quarter” despite mixed stock price performance and the sector underperforming the equal weight S&P, the firm adds. While fundamentals are not great across the board, the firm notes a general lighter mix of property renewals should help pricing on some commercial lines.
