Procter & Gamble plans to cut 7,000 non-manufacturing jobs globally in the next two years, or about 15% of its non-factory workforce, The Wall Street Journal’s Natasha Khan reports. The company plans to trim its product portfolio, exiting some categories and divesting smaller brands in some markets, executives said at a conference in Paris. The staff cuts are part of a reorganization intended to create a better work structure, with broader roles and smaller teams, and are not for cost-cutting purposes, executives said.
