The Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland Interconnection has told Constellation Energy (CEG) that the former Three Mile Island nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania likely won’t be able to connect to the grid until 2031, Constellation told Reuters at the CERAWeek energy conference, reports Laila Kearney. Constellation is planning to resume operations at the nuclear power plant in 2027 to feed Microsoft data centers, Reuters points out. Shares of Constellation Energy are down 2% to $298.02 in morning trading.
