Phillips 66 (PSX) is considering buying liquefied natural gas from the U.S. through long-term contracts and is hiring staff in Houston to do this, Bloomberg’s Ruth Liao and Nathan Risser report, citing people familiar with the matter. The discussions are preliminary, according to the people, who asked not to be named because the talks were private.
