PepsiCo (PEP) plans to increase prices on some of its smaller bags of chips even after curtailing the cost of its larger packages in response to consumer feedback, Bloomberg’s Kristina Peterson reports, citing people familiar with the matter. In the coming weeks, the snack and beverage giant intends to raise prices by 10c-20c on certain single-serve chip bags that currently retail for $2.69, the author says. A company spokesman said the price hike would apply to a limited number of single-serve products starting late next month.
