PepsiCo sees business remaining ‘resilient’ for rest of year

In prepared remarks ahead of its Q2 earnings call, PepsiCo (PEP) said that the business was “resilient” during Q2, navigating through a “complex” geopolitical and macro environment. The company’s North America beverage business saw an improvement in organic volume trends versus the previous quarter, PepsiCo said. The company expects benefits from the “One North America” plan to accrue starting next year. PepsiCo said poppi is “highly complementary” to its overall beverage portfolio. The company expects the business remain “resilient” for the balance of the year, and continues to see incremental supply chain costs related to the sourcing of certain global inputs and ingredients and related tariff impacts for the balance of 2025. It is implementing mitigation strategies to partially reduce these incremental costs.
