Wells Fargo lowered the firm’s price target on PennyMac Financial (PFSI) to $115 from $120 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm cites a disappointing quarter with operating ROE shrinking to 13%. The good news is that management expects ROE to improve to mid-to-high teens in the second half of 2025, Wells adds.
