In a regulatory filing, Peabody (BTU) Energy said that based on recent events, the company has determined that sales volume from the Centurion Mine is expected to be below prior expectations for the first quarter of 2026. The mine is expected to deliver approximately 250,000 tons in the first quarter, based on greater-than-anticipated mine commissioning challenges. Full-year 2026 metallurgical coal volume targets remain unchanged at 10.3-11.3 million tons. The company will report its full first quarter results on May 5, 2026.
