Parsons (PSN) announced that it has been awarded a six-year, $60M new contract by the Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority to complete design of phase 2B2 of the Foothill Gold Line project and provide design services during construction. As part of the longest linear light rail line in the world, phase 2B2 will complete the next segment of the Metro A Line light rail system, by adding a 2.3-mile extension from Pomona to Claremont. This segment, along with previous design phases, will provide innovative and sustainable solutions that reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality, and help commuters reach their destinations safely and reliably.
