ParkerVision says court grants motion to expedite appeal in Qualcomm case

ParkerVision (PRKR) announced that the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has granted ParkerVision’s October 13th motion to expedite the appeal in its ongoing patent-infringement case against Qualcomm (QCOM) and Qualcomm Atheros. The court’s order provides for an opening brief by ParkerVision no later than December 1, 2025; Qualcomm’s response brief no later than January 16, 2026; ParkerVision’s reply brief no later than February 6, 2026; and scheduling of oral arguments for the next available session after briefing is complete. ParkerVision CEO Jeffrey Parker commented, “We are extremely pleased that the appellate court has moved so swiftly to grant our motion to expedite this appeal which we believe will correct an error made by the district court and significantly shorten the remaining timeframe to trial in this long-standing case.”
