Paramount Skydance (PSKY) has increased the proposed breakup fee in its offer to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) to $5B from its previously proposed $2.1B, Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The fee would be paid to Warner Bros. if a deal is struck but not finalized, the author notes.
