Palantir’s (PLTR) Maven AI system has been designated an official program of record by the U.S. Department of Defense, securing long-term use of Palantir’s weapons-targeting technology across the military, David Jeans of Reuters reports. Secretary of Defense Steve Feinberg stated that embedding the Maven Smart System will equip warfighters with advanced tools to detect, deter, and dominate adversaries, with implementation expected by the end of the current fiscal year in September.
