Offshore wind developer Orsted is in negotiations to sell a 50% stake of the GBP 8.5B Hornsea 3 wind farm to Apollo as it seeks to bolster its balance sheet following a run of setbacks, the Financial Times’ Ivan Levingston, Rachel Millard and Sujeet Indap report, citing people familiar with the matter. The 2.9-gigawatt project is one of eight offshore wind farms the company is trying to finish building globally amid higher costs, supply-chain strains and political disruption.
