Oracle (ORCL) announced a firm-fixed price task order through the U.S. Department of Defense Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability contract to provide the U.S. Army’s Enterprise Cloud Management Agency with cloud compute and storage services. These services, delivered via Oracle U.S. Defense Cloud, will cover Defense Information Systems Agency Impact Levels 2, 4, 5, and 6. ECMA is a field operating agency under the U.S. Army’s Office of the CIO. Building on the DoD’s largest competitive JWCC award in 2024, this new task order will help advance the ECMA’s mission to deliver and manage a secure, multicloud ecosystem in support of the Army Digital Transformation Strategy. In addition, by expanding ECMA’s catalog of cloud capabilities, the new task order will enable Army customers to further innovate across all operational domains.
