Optimum, a brand of Altice USA (ATUS), and Google Cloud (GOOG) announced an expanded collaboration to build an intelligent customer experience using Google Cloud’s generative AI technology. Optimum will use tools including Google’s Customer Engagement Suite, Vertex AI, and Gemini models across web, mobile, call centers, and kiosks to improve customer service, provide personalized support, and enhance agent tools. The multi-year agreement aims to build on Optimum’s recent net promoter score increases.
