Optex Systems announces $1.23M order for laser protection filters

Optex Systems (OPXS) announced it has been awarded a new contract from the U.S. Government, for laser interference filters in support of Night Vision Goggle systems. The order value is $1.23M with deliveries starting in quarter four of fiscal calendar year 2026 through early 2027. “This order is another delivery order release against our five-year IDIQ contract with the U.S. Government. Our delivery and quality performance against this program has been excellent, and this is a key factor in new delivery order releases.” stated Bill Bates, GM, AOC. With this order, the current Optex backlog is in excess of $36.8million.
