Optex Systems (OPXS) Holdings announced it has been awarded a three-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity IDIQ contract for Optically Improved Periscopes from DLA Land and Marine with a maximum value of $6.5 Mand two additional option years. Danny Schoening, CEO, Optex Systems stated “Optex continues to support our domestic armored vehicle manufactures through the ongoing supply of laser protected periscopes. These units provide our customers with real-time situational awareness while protecting them from harmful laser strikes. This three year contract speaks to the decades-long relationship with the U.S. Government and our commitment to quality and reliability.” With this order, the current Optex backlog is in excess of $42 million.
