Microsoft (MSFT)-backed OpenAI increased its revenue outlook for the next five years, anticipating that it will generate roughly 27% more than previously forecast from sales of its ChatGPT subscriptions, AI models, and other products, The Information’s Sri Muppidi and Stephanie Palazzolo report. In addition, the company projects $112B more cash burn through 2030, the authors say, noting that OpenAI’s adjusted gross margin fell to 33% in 2025. The company still sees cash flow turning positive in 2030, the authors note.
