OpenAI is partnering with Foxconn to design and develop data center server racks to be manufactured in the U.S., Bloomberg’s Debby Wu and Seth Fiegerman report. Foxconn will co-design and develop data center server racks with OpenAI and produce cabling, power systems and other key equipment for data center facilities in the U.S., according to the report, which adds that the agreement with OpenAI does not include specific purchase commitments.
