While Intel (INTC) is picking up momentum on the deals front, its manufacturing unit has struggled to produce quality in-house chips, according to Reuters, which reports that Nvidia (NVDA) recently tested out whether it would manufacture its chips using Intel’s 18A production process, but stopped moving forward, citing two people familiar with the matter. Nvidia did not answer a request for comment, according to Reuters.
