Speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang stated in part, according to a transcript of the event: “Just for everybody’s update, we finalized our agreement. We’re going to invest $30B in OpenAI. I think the opportunity to invest $100B in OpenAI is probably not in the cards. And the reason for that is because they’re going to go public. And so I’m fairly sure that if we provide the capacity they need, the compute capacity they need, which we’re ramping up hard to go do, the revenues will more than follow. And they’re going to go public towards the end of the year. And so this might be the last time we’ll have the opportunity to invest in a consequential company like this. And our $10B investment in Anthropic probably will be the last as well.”
