U.S. District Judge Phyllis Hamilton has blocked NSO Group from Meta‘s WhatsApp platform, ruling there is evidence the company’s spyware could still infiltrate users’ devices, Carly Nairn of Courthouse News Service reports. Additionally, the judge ordered the jury-based award of $167M to be brought down to $4M.
