NRG Energy appoints Caroline Golin as Chief Growth and Policy Officer

NRG Energy (NRG) appointed Caroline Golin as Chief Growth and Policy Officer. Golin brings more than two decades of experience in energy strategy, market development, and product innovation to NRG. She will also lead NRG’s Government and Regulatory Affairs functions. Most recently, Golin was the Founder and CEO of Envision Energy Advisors. Prior to founding Envision Energy Advisors, she was Global Head of Energy Market Development and Innovation at Google, where she led energy strategy, new product innovation, and partnership development to support the company’s energy and digital infrastructure needs. She was also a co-creator of Google’s moonshot program to operate fully on carbon-free energy by 2030.
