The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, or NRC, has renewed the operating license for Duke Energy’s (DUK) Robinson Nuclear Plant for an additional 20 years, extending the plant’s ability to deliver reliable energy until 2050. Robinson, located in Hartsville, S.C., provides enough energy to power 570,000 homes.
