Stifel analyst Selman Akyol raised the firm’s price target on Northwest Natural Gas (NWN) to $50 from $49 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares following Q2 results above estimates. Northwest Natural should be favorably positioned as it continues to benefit from its 2024 rate case, the Pines acquisition in Texas and continued growth in water, the firm told investors in a research note. Consequently, Stifel’s estimates are toward the upper end of management’s guidance range.
