The Pokemon Company, which is jointly owned by Nintendo (NTDOY), Game Freak, and Creatures, announced that the “Pokemon Legends: Z-A” and “Pokemon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” games have been slated for release on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Preorders will begin Thursday, June 5, on Nintendo eShop. Players who purchase either the physical or digital version of “Pokemon Legends: Z-A” for Nintendo Switch will have the option to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing an upgrade pack. Upgrade packs will be available on Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store. The company added that a Pokemon Presents presentation will occur July 22.
