According to a statement posted on Nintendo’s (NTDOY) X account, the company has pushed the release date of its upcoming live-action “Legend of Zelda” movie to May 7, 2027 from March 26, 2027. “It will be some weeks later than the release timing we originally announced, and we will take the extra time to make the film as good as it can be,” Shigeru Miyamoto, producer of the film on main mind behind “Zelda” and “Mario” at Nintendo, said in the statement. “Thank you for your patience.” The Fly notes that the film will be made in conjunction with Sony Pictures (SONY).
