Nintendo (NTDOY) is planning to launch a new “Star Fox” video game for Switch 2 this summer as well as a remake of 1998 title “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time” for the console later this year, though a brand new 3D “Super Mario” title won’t arrive in 2026, VideoGamesChronicle’s Andy Robinson reports, citing a prominent Nintendo insider known as NateTheHate. Robinson said NateTheHate’s reporting has been matched by VGC’s own sources. The news comes a day after Nintendo announced that “Star Fox” protagonist Fox McCloud will appear in the upcoming “Super Mario Galaxy Movie.”
