Nintendo (NTDOY) has asked suppliers to manufacture as many as 25M units of its Switch 2 console by the end of March 2026, setting the Japanese video game maker up for record first-year sales for the gaming system, Bloomberg’s Takashi Mochizuki and Debby Wu report. The company has requested that suppliers ramp up production, counting on demand to remain over the coming holiday season and into 2026, the authors say, citing people familiar with the matter.
