Nintendo’s (NTDOY) Switch 2 was the top-selling gaming console in Europe in April 2026, with 196,359 units sold, bringing the console’s lifetime unit sales in Europe to 4.53M, VGChartz’s William D’Angelo reports, citing VGChartz estimates. Sony‘s (SONY) PlayStation 5 was the second best-selling console in the region last month, with an estimated 135,985 units sold, bringing its lifetime Europe sales to 32.48M units, D’Angelo says. Switch 1 sales during the month were 30,950 units, while Microsoft’s (MSFT) Xbox Series X/S came in fourth place with 23,699 units sold in Europe.
