Nintendo (NTDOY) announced that “Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” will arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2 system with enhanced features like higher resolution visuals, mouse controls, an in-game megaphone that uses the system’s built-in microphone, online play for up to 12 players and CameraPlay. In addition, a free update is also coming to “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” for the Nintendo Switch system on Jan. 15. Nintendo Switch 2 players can purchase digital or physical versions of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the game when it launches Jan. 15 for $64.99. If a player already ones the game for Nintendo Switch, a paid upgrade pack will also be available for $4.99.
