Nintendo (NTDOY) of America has opted to outsource its customer support services, resulting in hundreds of contractors losing their jobs amid concerns the game maker’s customer support will suffer as the Switch 2 console enters its first holiday season in the coming months, IGN’s Rebekah Valentine reports, citing multiple sources impacted by the decision. The company is outsourcing such work to South America, the author notes.
