Nike (NKE) is looking into a possible data breach after a group known for cyberattacks reportedly alleged to have leaked data related to the apparel maker’s business operations, Reuters’ Nicholas Brown and Raphael Satter report. “We always take consumer privacy and data security very seriously,” Nike said. “We are investigating a potential cyber security incident and are actively assessing the situation.” Ransomware group World Leaks claims on its website that it published 1.4 terabyte of data from the company, the authors say, noting that Reuters could not immediately download the information or verify the claim.
