EQT Corporation (EQT) is in talks to take a supply of liquefied natural gas from NextDecade’s (NEXT) export terminal in Texas, Ruth Liao of Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The potential deal includes EQT loading the super-chilled fuel from the Rio Grande LNG facility, sources told Bloomberg. Shares of NextDecade are up 4% to $10.74 in midday trading.
