Nexstar (NXST) said in a statement that it is currently “engaged in productive discussions with executives at” Disney (DIS) to evaluate the status of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on its ABC-affiliated local TV stations, and to ensure the program “reflects and respects the diverse interests of the communities we serve,” the New York Times’ Ben Mullin reports. Nexstar will still pre-empt the show for the time being, Mullin says.
