JPMorgan upgraded New Oriental Education (EDU) to Overweight from Neutral with a price target of $62, up from $48. Following the 24% correction year-to-date, the stock’s setup into fiscal 2026 “appears much more attractive” than in fiscal 2025, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says consensus estimates have come down enough to be in-line with JPMorgan and buy-side expectations “have been washed out.” JPMorgan also expects New Oriental to announce a more sustainable shareholder return policy soon.
