Warner Music Group (WMG) and Netflix (NFLX) have entered an exclusive multi-year first-look deal to develop documentary series and films about WMG’s artists and songwriters, Deadline’s Matt Grobar reports. Unigram, led by Amanda Ghost and Gregor Cameron, will produce the longform projects in collaboration with the artists or their estates. Warner Music Group’s CEO, Robert Kyncl, said: “The combination of Warner Music Group’s IP with Netflix’s global reach is an incredible opportunity to introduce new fans to our artists and songwriters all around the world.”
