Netflix (NFLX) co-CEO Ted Sarandos visited the White House in November to discuss a range of topics with President Donald Trump, including the auction of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), Lucas Shaw of Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter. Trump said Warner Bros. should sell to the highest bidder, which Sarandos agree, making the case for his company’s offer, Bloomberg’s sources added. Sarandos argued the company isn’t a powerful monopoly and had suffered its own subscriber loss over the past couple of years.
