Nano Nuclear Energy announces ceremony to begin drilling worth with U. of I.

NANO Nuclear Energy (NNE) announced an event highlighting progress being made with NANO Nuclear’s KRONOS MMR research and commercial prototype at The Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois, U. of I., Urbana-Champaign on October 24, 2025. The KRONOS MMR micro modular microreactor is currently advancing through the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s licensing process via a collaboration between NANO Nuclear and U.of I. Successful installation and operation at U. of I. will provide a demonstration of the KRONOS MMR platform.
