North American Class 8 truck orders fell 32% year-over-year to 20,500 vehicles in September, according to Bloomberg, citing FTR preliminary data. Month on month, it was the highest in eight months, Bloomberg added. Companies linked to truck production include Paccar (PCAR), Allison Transmission (ALSN), Cummins (CMI), Eaton (ETN) and Modine (MOD).
