Truist raised the firm’s price target on M&T Bank to $230 from $217 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares after its Q4 earnings beat. The company’s expenses had been a little higher than the guided midpoint, though its buybacks had also been a little lower than the guide CET1-implied, which account for the slight increase in the firm’s expected 2027 EPS view to $22 from $21, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
