On the commodities front, oil prices eased after a surprise build in U.S. crude inventories, while copper collapsed nearly 20% following U.S. tariff announcements. Gold ticked down slightly amid a firmer dollar.
Despite a mixed macro signal environment, market sentiment has tilted bullish with dollar strength reversing earlier bearish positioning, rising equity bets, and broad confidence in AI-led tech strength continuing to support momentum.
In pre-market trading, S&P 500 futures rose 0.94%, Nasdaq futures rose 1.37% and Dow futures rose 0.22%
