The Openbaar Ministerie has imposed a fine of a total of EUR 101M on two Morgan Stanley (MS) companies in London and Amsterdam for dividend tax evasion. The total amount of these penalty orders is close to the statutory maximum. This amount is in addition to the tax due that Morgan Stanley paid to the Tax and Customs Administration with interest at the end of 2024.
