Several shareholders in BlackLine (BL) are urging the accounting software provider to explore a possible sale following reported takeover interest by SAP (SAP), Bloomberg’s Crystal Tse and Liana Baker report, citing people familiar with the matter. Ananym Capital and Tensile Capital have issued letters to BlackLine’s boar, while Sheffield Asset Management has been in contact with the board voicing its views on a potential sale, the authors note.
