Moody’s (MCO) Corporation announced it has fully acquired ICR Chile, a leading provider of domestic credit ratings in Chile. This transaction follows Moody’s 2019 acquisition of a minority stake in ICR and will strengthen its presence in Latin America’s domestic credit markets. ICR will continue issuing domestic ratings in Chile under its own process and will be integrated into Moody’s Local. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
