Following a report earlier this morning from The Information claiming that multiple Microsoft (MSFT) divisions have adjusted lower their targets for how much sales personnel are expected to grow their sales of certain AI products after many of them missed the company’s growth goals in the fiscal year that ended in June, Microsoft told CNBC that the company has lowered sales quotas or targets for its salespeople. Shares of Microsoft remain down about 1%, off their earlier lows.
