Meta Platforms (META) is planning to carry out its planned 10% staff cuts in three batches globally on Wednesday, Katie Paul of Reuters reports, citing an internal document seen by Reuters. The company also plans to move 7,000 employees to new initiatives related to AI workflows and to eliminate managerial roles, Meta’s head of human resources said in the memo, according to Paul.
