Meta intends to spend nearly $1B on the development of a data center project in central Wisconsin, Brody Ford, Riley Griffin, and Josh Saul of Bloomberg reports. Back in February, Wisconsin struck an incentive deal with an unnamed company to develop a data center in the state with an expected multiyear investment of $837M, according to documents seen by Bloomberg. The company behind this project is Meta, Bloomberg noted, citing one person familiar with the matter.
